Anchors – From Carol, (AFC), a Foundation, is dedicated to providing awareness and enrichment to the lives of people and their families impacted by Cancer, illiteracy and learning disabilities through awarding gifts, encouragement, and hope.
Donations will be used to support causes that Carol was passionate about during her dash. They include areas related to Cancer: awareness, research, survivors and family assistance; Teachers: educational, reading and literacy programs; Veterans: aid and education; Developmentally Disabled: specialized needs & their caretakers; Pet: therapy, adoption and rescue.
Through ongoing fundraising, AFC will provide Cancer care packages, Veteran’s assistance, clothing, trip awards, employee recognition, adaptive equipment, books, educational and tutoring materials, scholarships and pet supplies.
